theatre project for deaf and hearing children age 6 – 14
Because of the Covid-19-pandemic the theatre project couldn’t take place during the easter holidays like usual, but happened during the autumn holidays 2020.
7 deaf and hearing kids got the chance to create a theatre show without words together with Compagnie Augenmusik. We explored techniques like movement theatre, danced acrobatics to conjure our own version of the fairytale “The Pleiades”.
The theatre week was bilingually accompanied (signed and spoken) by theatre maker Daniela Krabbe and dance and circus pedagogue Katja Bretschneider.
At the end of the week we presented our show to parents, teachers and interested spectators.
